How it works

From the first sale of the day to the final record of the month.

Let's Quantify reads the sales your team is already ringing up and puts them in front of the people who need them. Here's how each piece works.

Getting started

It starts with the register you already use.

You connect your register once. Today that's Square, and Clover support is in testing. Your stores, your team and your menu come across, along with recent sales, and new sales keep flowing in through the day. Your team rings up orders exactly the way they do today.

More than one register account?

Each one connects, and they all roll up into one view.

Every store keeps its own clock.

"Today" and "this month" follow each store's local time zone.

One meaning of net sales.

It's sales minus tax and refunds, with tips kept separate, on every screen.

For every role

Each person sees exactly their part of the business.

Each code is tied to one person and one place, so a store lead sees their store and a district lead sees their district. As you add stores, districts and regions, their leads get views of their own.

Team members also see their best shift of the month. If you write a short note explaining how commission works, it shows right under their earnings.

Store leads see today's shifts alongside the store's sales. When you set targets, they see whether the store is on pace, and when they earn a bonus, they see it build.

District leads see each store in their district and their own bonus, if they earn one.

Regional leads and executives see their regions, districts and stores, and how each lead on their team is doing.

Owners and admins sign in to the full dashboard. That's where you set targets, commission and codes, and invite other admins.

Codes are read-only and stored scrambled, so they can't be read back, even by us. Sessions end on their own, and you can change any code whenever you want. Leads can add their view to their phone's home screen.

Optional

Targets give your leads something to aim at.

You can set a monthly target for each store, for net sales and for the products you want to push, like a seasonal special or retail merchandise. You choose which products count, and Let's Quantify adds them up.

On pace, or behind?

Leads see an expected-by-now line that follows the calendar, not a flat daily average.

From the top down.

The KPI report starts with the whole business and drills down by region, district and store.

Product counts without targets.

The products you track show up in reports even if you never set a target.

Optional

Every sale lands with the person who made it.

Most commission arguments start with "who rang that up?" Let's Quantify answers it from your register's clock-ins, so each sale goes to whoever was on shift. Nobody keeps a tally or assigns sales by hand.

Rates as broad or as specific as you like.

One rate can cover a whole category. You can then change it for a single item, or a single size of that item.

Milestone bonuses for leads.

You set sales milestones for store leads and district leads, each with its own payout. Every milestone they pass adds to their bonus for the month.

The cost, all month long.

Owners see commission earned next to sales as the month goes, so the total at month end is never a surprise.

Month end

The month closes itself, and the record holds.

Month end is where hand-built commission falls apart. A late refund, a store that changed hands, or one wrong cell in a spreadsheet, and the totals stop agreeing. Here's what happens instead:

  1. 01

While the month runs, everything is provisional.

Numbers update as sales come in.

  2. 02

After the month ends, Let's Quantify waits a few days

for late sales to settle, and checks the last day's sales against your register.

  3. 03

Then it saves a final record.

That record is what you pay from: a payout list for payroll, and a full record for your books. Both can be exported or printed.

If something needs to change later, you reopen the month and give a reason. Let's Quantify makes a new version and keeps the original, so there's always a trail. You can also take someone out of a month's payout with a reason, and put them back later. Each of those changes is recorded too.

The final record also saves who held each lead role that month. Reassigning a store later never changes who earned a closed month's bonus.

Your data

Your data stays yours.

You can download a copy of your workspace data whenever you want, disconnect a register account, or ask us to delete your data.

Let's Quantify isn't payroll or accounting software. It gives you the record of what everyone earned, and your payroll and books stay where they are.
